A look back at one of the group’s landmark packages: the fabrication, trial assembly, surface treatment coordination, pre-assembly and delivery of about 500 tonnes of deck steel for the Swan River Matagarup Pedestrian Bridge, the three-span cable-stayed bridge linking East Perth to the stadium precinct.
Trial-assembling the deck in the Jandakot yard proved the geometry and fit before the sections went to the river, so that erection could proceed without rework.
